Subjects and Predicates Rap

My niece showed me this Subject and Predicate Rap Video on YouTube and I just loved it.  Guess what?  So did my kiddos!  They begged me everyday to watch it.  We had already learned about subjects and predicates the previous week, but I think this really helped them remember what they are and it was also a great review. I love when they are excited about learning!

Grandparent's Day, 2013

WE LOVE OUR GRANDPARENTS and SPECIAL FRIENDS!  This is always an exciting day at APS.  Grandparents or special friends come visit and the kids can take them on a tour of our school.  The book fair is always here during this time, so it's fun to take Grandparents to that.  :) 

First Week Jitters

This post is LATE, but I wanted to share these pictures.  
On the first day of school we read First Day Jitters. This is such a fun book to read on the first day. My kids LOVED it.  We talked about what "jitters" are.  Then we talked and wrote about the "jitters" we had about going to school on the first day/first week.  When the kids got back from PE, they had Jitter Juice waiting on them.  I think they liked it :)

Y'all, they seriously massaged us for like 30 minutes!  It was a GREAT birthday present!

I had to share the drawing that Hudson made for my for my birthday!  Sooooo adorable.  He worked on it all day (in the car)...on the way to and from church morning and night!  I think it is the sweetest thing!  *notice...my cell phone bottom right corner.  He said "I know you love your phone, so that's why I drew a picture of it!"  Hahaha!  

Mother's Day

WE LOVE OUR MOMS!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a few of the activities that are inside the Mother's Day booklet on TPT!  My kiddos really enjoyed making them for their moms.  I always love seeing how they turn out.  We also made an "I Love You to the Moon and Back" activity that some of my fellow teachers were doing.  I thought it was absolutely precious.  I believe they saw it on Pinterest!!  It turned out SUPER CUTE!  I hope their mommies LOVED them!
