This week, Mrs. Jones, guided the students in an interview session with friends. She paired students with someone who they may not be as familiar with to interview and write a story about their "new" friend. The began by conducting the interview. The asked their partner the questions and learned lots of new things about them. After they had interviewed their friend, they wrote a rough draft story using the information from the interview. Mrs. Jones proofread their rough drafts and they corrected them as needed. Then they wrote their final draft on what I call "pretty paper!" After that was all complete, they shared their writing with their classmates. They did a fantastic job!!! We learned a lot of new things about our classmates and friends.
